The Taiwan’s Compendium on Medicinal Plants (TCMP) is
supported by the Department of Industrial Technology of the Ministry
of Economic Affairs (DoIT, MOEA). TCMP provides related information
regarding Chinese herbal medicines as well as technical
collaboration opportunities in an effort to: encourage the
circulation of information regarding herbal
medicines; stimulate the research
and development of herbal
medicines; promote the development of the herbal medicine industry;
and facilitate the transition to the international market.
Taiwan’s Compendium on Medicinal Plants Botanical
Database includes 115 Taiwanese records and 185 Chinese records
containing information on herbs, including HPLC fingerprint,
identification, pharmacology, chemical constituent, index
ingredient, DNA sequence, patents, and photos (if available).
